Training is not meant to be hard

TriathlonJohn was a triathlon athlete, he loved competition and training, took pride in his achievements. John had not competed in triathlon for a few years and after returning he was finding it hard to recover after competition

During training’s John was sore and aching and not completing a full training session without needing to stop and ice up.

His walking was becoming labored and it was affecting his performance at his job. Even with a full night of rest John still woke up tired and warming up for the next training session was hard. His muscles felt like they were burning and tight

During competition John wasn’t reaching his personal best and recovery time was taking up training time, as John found his body not recovering in the given time frame. One of the fellow competitors told John how he was seeing a Massage Therapist to help him with recovery time and increase performance.
