To keep in line with the national standard of practice you must be qualified in Diploma or higher of in Health for example, Diploma remedial Massage, Bowen, Beauty or Myotherapy, chiropractic or physiotherapy, etc. You can do Foundation Myo MLD training.
The Myo MLD training picks up where qualifications have finished from college/RTO training providers. There are two options to bridge the path between where you are now and the Myo MLD training, firstly you can do the Quiz on Anatomy and Pathology to make sure your knowledge is up to date. Or you can do our bridging course, this course gives you the basics in bodywork therapy to successfully complete the Myo MLD foundation training.
That is fantastic that you have some basic knowledge in lymphatics unfortunately as there is no nationally recognised curriculum for lymphatics each college can teach it slightly different from each other. Even advanced training is taught very different between colleges some acknowledging more firmer techniques while others use light. We recommend that you start at module 1 in our courses to get a solid understanding of our protocols.
Yes, it is a simple process to send us your certificate of completion, so we know the level of your training. Then we can let you know when our next workshop is held in your area. This is called our Refresher F2F workshop.
